Description: This course is an undergraduate seminar that examines art, architecture, visual, and material cultural from the mid-19th century to the present through the analysis of visual and theoretical texts. Explores major art critical texts that debate modernity, modernism, ideologies of the avant-garde, postmodernism, and gender.
