Designed primarily for nursing and allied health students. Introduction to the study of medically important bacteria, protozoa, viruses, helminths, and fungi with emphasis on host-microbe interactions. Includes fundamentals of host innate and adaptive immune responses, and microbial pathogenesis mechanisms. May not be applied to biology major. (TCCNS = BIOL 2420)
