MATH 0203 - Developmntl Supplmnt-Math Busn
Prerequisite(s): Math TSIA2 Diagnostic score of 5, TSI-A math score of 340-349 or MATH 0003 with a grade of C or higher. Co-requisite(s): MATH 1203. Description: The course supports students in developing skills, strategies, and reasoning needed to succeed in MATH 1203, Mathematical Analysis for Business. Developmental topics include the real and complex number system, relations and functions, linear inequalities, and polynomial equations. Additionally the course will support students in developing skills needed to attain an in-depth knowledge of transformations of graphs, business applications of linear and quadratic functions, the mathematics of finance, matrix operations and linear programming, all of which are required for successful completion of MATH 1203. Each student must have a graphing calculator.
