Prerequisite: PHIL 1033, 2033 recommended. Introduction to core biomedical issues through discussion of case studies. Topics from among genetic engineering, death and dying/end of life care, right to life/death, mental illness, human subjects research, animal experimentation, research cloning, and other topics as selected by instructor and students.
