Prerequisites: Communication Core. A study of the inter-relationships of literature, music, art, and philosophy in an historical context with emphasis on the Renaissance, the Baroque style, the Enlightenment, Romanticism, and Realism (fifteenth through late-nineteenth centuries). Individual research and evidence of the ability to synthesize the expressions of the different art forms within a cultural period will be required.
