NURS 3243 - Basic Nursing Care |
Prerequisites: NURS 3103, 3203, 3211, 3212, ENGL 1113, 1123, MATH 1053 or 1233, PSYC 1103, 3233, and SOCL 1133, Co-requisite: NURS 3242. The course emphasizes the application of beginning theories and concepts fundamental to patient care through the life cycle. In both campus laboratory and clinical experiences the student acquires basic cognitive and psychomotor skills. Students are introduced to the impact cultural diversity has on the outcome of patient care.
