Prerequisite(s): Math TSIA2 Diagnostic score of 5, or TSI Assessment Math score of 340-349, or MATH 0003 with a grade of C or higher. Co-requisite(s): MATH 1233. Description: The course supports students in developing skills, strategies, and reasoning needed to succeed in MATH 1233 - College Algebra. Developmental topics include the real and complex number system, relations and functions, inequalities, algebraic expressions and equations (absolute value, polynomial, radical, rational). Additionally the course will support students in developing skills needed to attain an in-depth knowledge of applications of polynomial, rational, radical, exponential and logarithmic functions, all of which are required for successful completion of MATH 1233.
