MATH 2043 - Structure of Number Sys II
Prerequisite: MATH 2033 with a grade of C or better.
Decimals, ratio and proportion, percents, real numbers; properties of basic geometric figures in two and three dimensions; congruence, construction, similarity, and basic geometric proof; measurement, perimeter, area, surface area, volume, and unit conversions; Pythagorean theorem and distance formula. This course stresses conceptual understanding mathematics through concrete examples, models, multiple representations of ideas and concepts, and processes of mathematical reasoning. (TCCNS = MATH 1351)
